MTF Biologics is Hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist (Hybrid) Near Jessup, PA

Overview/Risks

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will source, screen, hire, and retain qualified candidates in accordance with MTF's business needs. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible to develop relationships with hiring managers to ensure understanding of business units that they support. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is required to build a network of qualified candidates, evaluate skills in relation to the position requirements, and partner with theHiring Mamangers to make offers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract, screen, and identify top talent.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to execute recruiting plans by creating job postings, screening candidates, and making recommendations by submitting screened candidate slates for all openings.
  • Use passive and direct sourcing techniques such as database mining, internet searching, participating in and networking within associations, industry contacts, organizations, attending job/career fairs as a source to generate and develop a pool of qualified candidates.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with college, university and community college placement offices as a source to generate qualified applicants.
  • Conduct timely and effective intake sessions with hiring manager to define hiring needs
  • Develop quality and effective postings, translating job descriptions into effective advertisements to attract top talent.
  • Identify effective local sourcing strategies to support hiring a diverse slate of candidates.
  • Provide regular updates to the hiring manager, and/or partner with HR Business Partners as needed.
  • Develop effective prescreening questions and review resumes to match needs of the positon/organization as needed.
  • Phone screen applicants and make recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Maintain the recruitment applicant tracking system.
  • Work on special projects as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Associate's Degree

Years of Experience: 3 - 7 years

    • Specialized Knowledge, Technical Skills, and Abilities:
  • Must be able to build outstanding relationships w/ Hiring Managers while influencing them on best practices.
  • Use solid judgment and thrive in an ambiguous environment.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong customer service skills.
  • Must have the ability to effectively and appropriately interface and communicate with a variety of individuals or groups.
  • Demonstrated advance proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, windows based databases

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Years of Experience: 5 - 7 years

Specialized Knowledge, Technical Skills, and Abilities:

  • Minimum 5 of years recruiting for exempt and high volume positions.
  • Demonstrated experience/knowledge with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Strong professional presence; proven ability to effectively work with internal hiring managers which includes excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in taking initiative and solving problems from an influential position in an organization.
  • Proven consulting skills.
  • Demonstrated use of independent judgment and discretion in the delivery of recruitment services.
  • Self-motivated, confident and able to work effectively as an individual contributor while being a team player; consistently takes initiative, takes action, and has a ‘can do’ attitude.
